With the invitation of the Sakarya University Public Relations Society, I held a seminar titled “What Does He Want From Us?” with the theme of Advertising Agency Practices as part of the sector meetings.

At the event held at the Fusion Incubator Center, we assessed the design processes, agency functioning, and the effects of digital transformation on our profession together with the students.

I explained that the demands of companies have a wide range, from creating new brands to corporate identity studies, from staff entry cards to website designs; that each project requires the right tools, right software, and right approach according to its own dynamics. I emphasized the importance of creating a strong conceptual foundation and philosophical background in addition to aesthetics in design.

I also addressed the role of artificial intelligence in graphic design processes during the seminar, expressing that I see artificial intelligence as a supportive tool that accelerates our workflow, not as a threat to our profession. However, I pointed out that due to its lack of emotional depth, the human touch and professionalism are always a distinguishing factor.

At the end of the event, I made suggestions about the need for students to position themselves correctly and make a difference with their productions so that they can stand out in the industry.

Meeting with young people and being able to touch their lives and be a light for them has always been my greatest source of motivation.
